Terms of Use

Last updated: 1 September 2026

1. Who We Are and What These Terms Cover

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Integrity Career Institute membership platform, available at https://integritycareerinstitute.com (the “Platform”), and form a binding agreement between you and:

STB Integrity FZ-LLC, a free zone limited liability company registered with the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), United Arab Emirates, license number 45032063, with registered address at FDRK0543, Compass Building, Al Shohada Road, AL-Hamra Industrial Zone-FZ, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates (“STB Integrity”, the “Institute”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

You can contact us at any time at info@stbintegrity.com.

The Platform is a paid membership service for integrity and oversight professionals. It comprises five member areas — the Job Corner (a curated job board), the Career Desk (career articles and information about course and coaching offerings), the Knowledge Nook (a library of substantive articles), the Policy Library (a curated directory of integrity, ethics and oversight policy documents published by international organisations) and the Event Board (a calendar of professional events) — together with account and subscription management features. We may add further areas over time, as described in Section 16.

These Terms cover your membership of the Platform only. Courses, bootcamps and one-to-one coaching offered or announced through the Career Desk are separate services: joining a waitlist or submitting a coaching application does not purchase anything, and any purchase of those services will be governed by their own terms presented to you at the time.

If you are participating in a beta, preview or early-access period of the Platform, these Terms apply to you in the same way as to any other member.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By creating an account, ticking the acceptance box on the join page, or accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. The Platform is offered to individuals acting in their personal capacity as consumers. We do not currently offer team, corporate or organisational subscriptions, and an account may not be registered on behalf of, or operated for the shared use of, an organisation.

4. Your Account

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when registering and keep it up to date.
  • You may register one account only, and your account is personal to you.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Your credentials must not be shared with, or used by, any other person.
  • You must notify us promptly at info@stbintegrity.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to or use of your account.

5. Membership, Plans and Pricing

Access to member content on the Platform requires an active paid subscription; there is no free membership tier. We may make a small selection of articles publicly available as a preview of the Platform — Section 12 applies to that content in the same way as to member content.

We offer a monthly plan and an annual plan. All prices are stated and charged in euros (EUR). The standard prices are €19 per month and €190 per year. Founding member pricing is described in Section 6. Members who subscribed while prices were stated in United States dollars (before 1 September 2026) keep their existing plan and are charged in USD; Section 6 describes how their founding rate applies.

All prices are exclusive of taxes. Where value added tax, sales tax or any similar tax applies to your subscription under the law of your country of residence, it will be calculated and added at checkout and is borne by you.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, according to your plan) until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorise us and our payment processor to charge your chosen payment method the applicable subscription fee, plus any applicable taxes, at the start of each billing period.

If we change the standard subscription prices, the change will apply to you only from your next renewal, and we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the first renewal at the new price. Founding member price protections in Section 6 are unaffected except as stated there.

6. Founding Member Pricing

Members who first subscribe on or before 21 September 2026 (until midnight Paris time, i.e. 22:00 UTC on 21 September 2026) subscribe at the founding member rate of €95 per year. Founding membership is available on the annual plan only. After that date and time, new subscriptions are available at standard rates only.

If you subscribe during the founding window, before the Platform launch: you pay at signup, and your membership year runs from 22 September 2026, when the members’ area opens. Your renewal date is therefore 22 September of each year.

The founding rate is protected as follows:

  • Founding annual plan: your rate of €95 per year is guaranteed for your first two yearly billing periods. From the third yearly billing period, the standard annual price (currently €190 per year) applies automatically.
  • Members who first subscribed before 1 September 2026: your subscription remains in US dollars. Your founding annual rate of $110 USD per year is guaranteed for your first two paid yearly billing periods, after which the standard annual price applies automatically.

The founding rate is forfeited permanently if you cancel your subscription, switch plans (including switching from the founding annual plan to a monthly plan), or if your subscription lapses for any reason, including non-payment, subject to the cure period in Section 8. If you later resubscribe, you do so at the standard prices then in effect. Once forfeited, the founding rate cannot be restored.

7. Switching Between Monthly and Annual Plans

Any switch between the monthly and annual plan takes effect at the end of your current billing period. There is no proration and no refund of any part of the current period.

Plan switches are made through the customer portal operated by Stripe, accessible from your account. The portal will show you the new plan's price and the date on which the switch takes effect before you confirm.

Read this before switching if you joined at a founding rate: any plan switch, in either direction, forfeits your founding rate permanently and moves you to the standard price of the new plan (see Section 6). The portal will not repeat this warning, so please take it as given here: confirming a switch means giving up your guaranteed founding price, and it cannot be restored.

8. Payment, Taxes and Failed Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment services provider. Your payment card details are provided directly to Stripe and are not stored by us. You can update your payment method, view invoices and manage your subscription through the customer portal available from your account.

You are responsible for any taxes on your subscription as set out in Section 5, and for keeping a valid payment method on file.

If a renewal payment fails, we (through Stripe) will notify you by email with a link to update your payment method, and payment will be re-attempted. While a renewal remains unpaid, your access to member content is suspended. If the outstanding payment is completed within 14 days of the first failed attempt, your subscription continues uninterrupted and, if you are on a founding rate, your founding rate is preserved. If payment is not completed within that period, your subscription is cancelled and any founding rate is forfeited in accordance with Section 6.

9. Right of Withdrawal (Consumers in the EU, EEA and UK)

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you normally have a statutory right to withdraw from a contract for digital services within 14 days without giving a reason.

Membership gives you access to the full content of the Platform as soon as your access begins: immediately on payment or, if you subscribe before the Platform launch on 22 September 2026, on that date, when the members’ area opens. We therefore ask for your express consent when you sign up: by ticking the box on the join page confirming that you request access, you acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is lost once your access begins. If, and only to the extent that, the law of your country of residence does not permit this waiver, your statutory rights remain unaffected.

10. Cancellation by You

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period: you keep access until then, and you are not charged again. Amounts already paid for the current period are not refunded. Cancelling forfeits any founding rate as set out in Section 6.

11. Suspension and Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account, with immediate effect and without refund of the current billing period, if you materially breach these Terms — including, without limitation, sharing your credentials, sharing member benefits or coupons, redistributing content, or engaging in scraping or other automated access in breach of Section 12 — or if your use of the Platform creates a security, legal or operational risk. Where the breach is capable of remedy and does not create such a risk, we will normally warn you first and give you an opportunity to remedy it.

We may also discontinue the Platform entirely. If we do, we will give you reasonable advance notice by email and refund the unused portion of any prepaid subscription period on a pro-rata basis. This is the only circumstance in which prepaid fees are refunded.

12. Your Licence and Acceptable Use

Subject to these Terms and payment of your subscription, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform and its content for your own individual, non-commercial professional development. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

You must not, and must not assist or permit anyone else to:

  • share, disclose or permit the use of your login credentials by any other person, or access the Platform using another person's credentials;
  • share, transfer or resell any coupon, discount, early-access offer or other benefit attached to your membership;
  • copy, reproduce, download in bulk, republish, forward, distribute, publicly display or otherwise make available any content from the Platform — including articles, job listings, event listings, policy summaries and course materials — whether in whole or in part, in any medium, to any other person or organisation;
  • scrape, crawl, harvest or extract data or content from the Platform, whether manually or by any bot, script, browser extension, or other automated means, and whether the target is the job listings, the event listings, the policy directory, the articles or any other part of the Platform;
  • use any content from the Platform to train, fine-tune, ground or otherwise develop any artificial intelligence or machine learning model or dataset;
  • circumvent, disable or interfere with the paywall, access controls or any security feature of the Platform, or probe or test its vulnerability;
  • frame or mirror the Platform, or use it to build a competing product or service;
  • use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in a way that disrupts it or burdens its infrastructure.

Nothing in this Section prevents you from applying to jobs listed in the Job Corner, registering for events listed on the Event Board, consulting a policy document on the publishing organisation's own site, or otherwise following the links the Platform provides — connecting you to those organisations is what those sections are for.

13. Intellectual Property

The Platform and all content on it — including all articles, job listing curation and descriptions, text, graphics, logos, the “Integrity Career Institute” and “STB Integrity” names, and the design and arrangement of the Platform — are owned by STB Integrity FZ-LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws of the United Arab Emirates and international treaties. Your subscription buys access, not ownership: no intellectual property rights are transferred to you.

If you send us feedback or suggestions about the Platform, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use them without obligation to you.

The Platform lets members suggest events and policy documents for inclusion. By submitting a suggestion, you confirm that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that sharing it does not infringe anyone's rights. We may edit, decline or remove any suggestion at our discretion; suggestions that are published appear without attribution and become part of the Platform's content under this Section.

14. Job Corner, Event Board and Policy Library — Important Disclaimers

The Job Corner, the Event Board and the Policy Library are curated information services. Their listings summarise vacancies, events and policy documents published by third-party organisations. Listings and summaries may be prepared with the assistance of automated tools, including artificial intelligence, from the source material. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • listings and summaries may contain errors or become outdated, and publishing organisations may change application deadlines, event dates, venues or registration conditions, amend or withdraw documents, or close a vacancy or registration early, at any time and without notice;
  • you are responsible for verifying every detail — including deadlines, event dates and the current official text of any policy document — directly with the publishing organisation before relying on it, and we are not responsible if you miss a deadline or an opportunity;
  • we are not a recruitment agency or an event organiser, are not involved in any hiring or registration process, and have no relationship with, or influence over, the organisations whose vacancies, events or documents are listed;
  • links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.

15. No Advice; No Guarantee of Outcomes

The Platform provides general information and educational content for integrity and oversight professionals. Nothing on the Platform constitutes legal advice, career advice tailored to your individual circumstances, or any other form of professional advice, and no content creates any professional-client relationship between you and STB Integrity FZ-LLC or any of its personnel. We make no promise, representation or guarantee that using the Platform will lead to any particular outcome, including obtaining an interview, a job, a promotion or any professional or financial result. You remain solely responsible for your career decisions.

16. Availability and Changes to the Platform

We work to keep the Platform available and reliable, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance, and we may add, modify or withdraw features from time to time, provided that we will not materially reduce the core substance of the membership during a period you have already paid for. Content on the Platform changes continuously by its nature: articles and policy documents are added, and job listings and events appear and expire.

17. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. This Section does not affect any statutory warranty or guarantee that applies to you as a consumer under mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence and that cannot be excluded.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business or professional opportunity (including any employment opportunity), or loss of data, arising out of or in connection with the Platform or these Terms; and
  • our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Platform or these Terms, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, is limited to the total subscription fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time. Non-material changes — such as corrections, clarifications or updates that do not affect your rights or obligations — take effect when the updated Terms are posted on the Platform with a revised “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. If you do not agree with a material change, you may cancel your subscription before the effective date in accordance with Section 10; your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

20. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Platform, are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of your country of residence that apply to you and cannot be derogated from by agreement.

Talk to us first. If you have a complaint or a dispute, contact us at info@stbintegrity.com and we will try in good faith to resolve it with you amicably within 30 days.

If that doesn't work? If we cannot resolve the issue or dispute amicably, the parties agree to submit it first to mediation under the Mediation Rules of the Centre de Médiation et d'Arbitrage de Paris (CMAP), 39 avenue Franklin D. Roosevelt, 75008 Paris, France. If the dispute is not resolved within 60 days of the appointment of the mediator (or such longer period as the parties agree), it shall be finally settled under the Arbitration Rules of CMAP by a sole arbitrator appointed in accordance with those Rules. The seat of arbitration shall be Paris, France, and the language of the mediation and the arbitration shall be English.

Consumer carve-out. If you are a consumer, nothing in this Section deprives you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, prevents you from bringing or defending proceedings before the courts having jurisdiction under those provisions, or requires you to arbitrate where mandatory law gives you the right to go to court. This Section applies to consumers only to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and participation in mediation remains voluntary for consumers where the law so provides.

21. General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us concerning the Platform and supersede any prior arrangement relating to it.
  • Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force, and the invalid provision is deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid.
  • No waiver. A failure by us to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
  • Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your membership or any rights under these Terms. We may assign these Terms to a successor of our business, provided your rights are not reduced as a result.
  • Survival. Sections 12 (acceptable use), 13 (intellectual property), 17, 18 (warranties and liability) and 20 (governing law and disputes) survive the end of your membership.
  • Language. These Terms are drafted in English, and the English version prevails over any translation.
